Henry the Faun

Tonight as I was heading home I saw a neighbor walking down the street. His kids had just seen a baby deer nestled on the side of the road so he was going to check on it. When we went to see, it had gotten up and been hit by a car, breaking it's legs. We shot it and took it home to deal with according to the directions in The Encyclopedia of Country Living.
